Can you tell us a little about your business and the work you do?

Possums Early Learning Centre provides education and care for children 0-5 years.

What made you want to build an inclusive workplace?

We believe everyone should have the opportunity to shine, extending the same support and understanding we provide to children to our educators.

How has inclusive employment positively impacted your workplace or team?

Inclusive employment has provided opportunities for our team to support one another and be more understanding and accepting of each person’s needs.

What has been one of the most rewarding aspects of building an inclusive workplace?

One of the most rewarding aspects has been seeing the team grow closer and build lasting relationships.

What advice would you offer to other employers considering building a more inclusive workplace?

Take the opportunity to create a more inclusive workplace. When people understand and support each other’s individual needs, everyone benefits.
