A Team Leader will mentor staff in their professional development, be flexible in service delivery, market to and network with relevant stakeholders, collaborate with coordinators and staff across all sites, manage challenging behaviours, work with local employers to identify and establish work experience and employment opportunities, promote inclusiveness within the program.

NDIS Youth Consultants deliver group and individual training to help participants develop skills and confidence for employment, independence, and social goals. They create and tailor workshops to meet the needs of unique groups. They provide end-to-end support, including internal training, workplace and community support, to ensure positive outcomes for Omnia Inclusive participants. They also collaborate with NDIS Youth Workplace Consultants to enhance participants’ skills and employability, ensuring progress towards individual career and life goals.

As a Career Consultant, your role is to ensure that Omnia Inclusive candidates receive the necessary support and understanding of the employment preparation and placement requirements and pathways available to them. Working closely with Business Relationship Consultants and Workplace Consultants, the focus will be on reverse-marketing the caseload of candidates by collaborating with employers to ensure they can provide a supportive work environment committed to their success. This collaborative effort aims to highlight the strengths and abilities of candidates, creating opportunities for mutually beneficial, sustainable matches.

A Career Consultant plays an important role in guiding candidates through their employment journey. You will provide hands-on support, including referrals to community services, professional development, interview preparation, and progress monitoring. Your work empowers candidates to secure rewarding jobs, making a significant impact on their lives. While based in Hamilton, you may also work at the Co-Location Hunter New England Mental Health premises as needed to support business needs.
