Introduction to Music

Music is everywhere – from your favourite streaming playlist to movie soundtracks, phone ringtones, and even the sound of raindrops. It connects us, lifts our spirits, and has the power to change our mood.

In this program, participants will analyse what music means to them in 2025 and build fundamental knowledge about music theory, history, production and instrumentation. Facilitated by Chris (Bachelor of Music Production), the music workshops will be fun and collaborative, featuring plenty of passion and creativity.

Recommendations / Considerations

- If participants are interested in learning more about playing guitar, writing and recording music, or creating music for video games and TV, they can book a one-on-one session with Chris.
- If there’s any instrument or music gear that’s no longer being used at home, we’d love for the family to consider donating it to Omnia Inclusive's music room.
