It is a rewarding career that allows me to work with people throughout their lifetime, combining creativity, client-centred care, and the opportunity to make a direct, tangible difference – helping them pursue what they love.
I have been an OT for 23 years and worked in a variety of settings such as paediatrics, acute musculoskeletal, community based and disability. My area of expertise includes conducting a range of assessments and planning interventions for developmental conditions as well as completing functional capacity assessments for adolescent/adult population living with a disability. I have completed additional postgraduate qualifications in Sensory Integration, DIR Floortime approach, Handwriting without Tears, Understanding Autism, Trauma Informed Practice and am a certified practitioner for Therapeutic Listening. I have been a clinical educator for many years and also work as an academic casual for USYD and ACU.
I am excited that I will be able to add value and broaden the scope of the amazing services that Omnia Inclusive has been offering in our community in the past 30 years. I feel privileged to be a part of this organisation which has proudly supported over 30,000 participants to reach their goals.
I can speak / understand 5 languages and I love playing badminton.
