In 2016, Lester joined Omnia Inclusive seeking direction and support during a challenging period in his life due to his mental health. The team at Omnia Inclusive connected Lester to various mental health services, significantly improving and stabilising his well-being. In his own words,
Over the last two years, Lester has thrived. He has embraced a full-time role at Precisionscreen, where he works as an ‘all-rounder’ in the warehouse, office, and as a driver – a job he thoroughly enjoys. Precisionscreen specialises in designing and manufacturing mobile screening, washing, crushing, and recycling equipment for industries such as quarrying, mining, and materials handling, providing Lester with a fulfilling career.
Reflecting on his journey, Lester shares,
Outside of work, Lester has expanded his social networks by joining a cycling group, enjoying regular outings and fostering meaningful friendships. Achieving financial milestones, such as purchasing a new Kawasaki motorbike, further highlights his journey towards personal and professional fulfillment.
Lester’s story highlights the power of collaborating with allied health, medical, and community supports to provide holistic employment services that consider every aspect of an individual’s life. As Lester puts it,
