Since I connected with Kathryn for assistance at Omnia, she has supported me from day one with the sign-up process to being my consultant. Kathryn is very supportive, genuine, caring, and down-to-earth nature. Her consistent support in overcoming my employment obstacles has truly made a difference. Each week Kathryn dedicates her time to helping me with job preparation, creating a resume/cover letter and guiding me in search for employment opportunities. Kathryn has assisted in improving my learning and skill set with general discussions at our appointments and also enrolling me in training workshops at Omnia, which I enjoyed this has increased my self esteem and self belief. In general, I always feel very welcomed when attending my appointments by the team at Omnia, The staff are highly professional, very happy with the service.

Omnia (Southport) provided significantly more help in the few months I was with them than all the other providers did (combined) in several years. Much better than anyone else.

I was long term unemployed. The team at Omnia knew about an employment program through the federal government employing staff at Hospitals. The team helped me all the way through the employment process and continue to support me with my transition back into the workforce

Job Centre at Southport have been fantastic help in my search for work. Initial contact with Catherine was very helpful and friendly. Then Brendan and Michelle really listened to what you were looking for, or made suggestions and offered great support in looking for suitable roles and providing advice. Peter at Robina was great at actively helping you look, approaching prospective employers face to face with you. They also help if you need to improve any skills or interview techniques. Plus they provide some financial assistance with helping you obtain suitable work clothing or fuel vouchers.

My review on Job Centre Australia Southport comes with great appreciation for the team that works together with high value for each individuals diversity with ethical understanding, upskilling and mentoring. You do not see these qualities in a team "under one roof". The impeccable organisation and preparation of material for the workshops run by Louise S, consist of "Prime and Prep New Career Development", "Work Preparation and Operations", "Goal Setting For The Future", "Setting Realistic Individual Goal Benchmarks", "Resume/CV writing and Interviewing skills" and "Building your Professional Portfolio" (for that added WOW factor for the Employer to notice your personal attributes for example, further study, accomplishments, volunteering etc.), have assisted me to review my strengths and capabilities. My recommendation to others that are lucky to be involved in these workshops, is to re read the material. There is alot of useful information to be absorbed. In other words it is "timeless" information to be utilised. One thing I would like to say is I hope Job Centre Southport conducts a Computer course . This would assist me greatly. JC Southport always follows through in all aspects of assistance, I find you just need to communicate your thoughts and they are always open to listening and discussion. There have been a few JC Southport employees that have been there for years, and this is where you are confident of the quality and outcome of their service due to "experience". I thank Brendan for as "revamping" my resume on our initial meeting, Michelle( a great listener, professional and empathethic), Gareth, Steph(the first point of call always approachable and professional with a smile when you contact JC Southport), Belinda, Karen at JC Robina(whom is helpful if Southport office is not available) and Mark who welcomes and acknowledges you by name when you come to the office.
