Since purchasing Priority Powder Coating, owners Dinesh Kerai, Milan Pindolia and Viral Pindolia have provided various opportunities for long term unemployed people with barriers on the Central Coast.

Dinesh Kerai, Milan Pindolia and Viral Pindolia moved to the Central Coast and purchased Priority Powder Coating in Dec 2017. Since then, they have formed a strong partnership with local recruitment service Job Centre Australia (JCAL), offering ongoing career opportunities for several people facing long-term unemployment.

“Employment is vital to financial independence and self-esteem. And, when you have been out of the workforce for a long period of time, finding an employer who is willing to take you on can be tough.

Employers such as Priority Powder Coating who provide inclusive workplace environments for people with barriers are so valuable in today’s economy.”

By providing employment to locals doing it tough, Priority Powder Coating are reaping the benefits of a diverse workplace. “It is great to see a new Central Coast business doing so well having just opened a second warehouse in Warnervale. Here at JCAL we value the relationship formed with Priority Powder Coating and applaud them for providing opportunities for long term unemployed here on the Central Coast.” JCAL Area Operations Manager, Northern NSW, Kate Fraser.

JCAL have assisted Priority Powder Coating in recruiting five people into their business in Tuggerah, one of which had been unemployed for 10 years prior to commencing this role. With the exception of their latest recruit, all employees recruited through this partnership have been employed for over 12 months.

Connor, has been there nearly 2 years, He’s worked his way through the factory’s various areas and will shortly be trained in painting. Connor previously worked at McDonald’s for 2 years, and also tried an apprenticeship that hadn’t worked out. Connor was unemployed for a year before starting at Priority Powder coating. He loves that there is always plenty of work and enjoys working with the great team of people.

John, who has a forklift and truck licence has worked at Priority Powder Coating for around 15 months. John is a master on the fork and is helping newest recruit Pete, who has only been there for 2 weeks, to settle in and learn the ropes.

“The partnership we have with JCAL is beneficial to both our business and the people we hire. The government subsidies JCAL provide have enabled our business to grow and succeed whilst providing life changing opportunities for locals struggling to be given a chance. And, the recruits we have are a great fit for our business! I would recommend reaching out and seeing what they can do to help your business grow” Milan Pindolia, Owner, Priority Powder Coating.

JCAL goes beyond traditional recruitment services. They are about diverse talent, unique skillsets and inclusion. JCAL provide recruitment solutions, solve problems, and provide capability and potential. If you are looking for your next team member, give Job Centre Australia a call on 1800 466 046.
